Click Frenzy Main Event
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days (29 September to 5 October)
Amazon Australia's October sale runs for seven days. Most deals are for Prime members, and Amazon offers a 30-day free trial if you're not a member. Amazon's own devices (Kindle, Echo, Fire TV), robot vacuums and headphones are usually the stars. The 2026 sale ran from 29 September to 5 October and has ended. See what's next on our Prime Big Deal Days page.
Click Frenzy: The Main Event (27 to 30 October)
Click Frenzy's biggest sale of the year runs from Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 October 2026, according to the official Click Frenzy calendar. Many Australian stores take part, from tech and fashion to travel. Our Click Frenzy guide explains how it works and how to get ready.
Halloween deals (mid to late October)
Click Frenzy lists Halloween shopping from 12 to 25 October. Expect discounts on costumes, decorations and party supplies rather than big-ticket tech. Buy early, because popular costumes sell out in the last week.
What's worth buying in October
- Kindles and Amazon devices: Prime Big Deal Days is one of the best times of year for these. Not sure which one? Read which Kindle to buy.
- Robot vacuums: big discounts are common in both October sales. Compare models in our best robot vacuums guide.
- Headphones: last year's noise-cancelling models often drop. See the best noise-cancelling headphones.
- Air fryers and small appliances: see the best air fryers.
Buy now, or wait for Black Friday?
If an October price is close to the lowest you've seen, buy it. Waiting four weeks rarely saves much more on the same item. TVs and laptops are the exception, since they often drop further around Black Friday (27 November). Not sure? Set a free price drop alert, or use the deal checker to see the real saving.
