We collect as little as possible. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

We don't have user accounts and we don't sell personal information.

How we use it

We use your email address only for what you signed up for: the weekly deals email, the price alerts you created, or a reply to your message. Every email says it's from SnagList, includes our contact email and has a one-click unsubscribe, which works straight away. We never sell or share your email for anyone else's marketing.

Where it's stored

Our website is hosted by Netlify, which also stores sign-ups and alerts on our behalf, and emails are sent by Resend. These services may store data outside Australia.

Saved only on your device

Some features remember your choices in your own browser (local storage). This never leaves your device and we can't see it:

To clear it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Cookies and analytics

SnagList doesn't use advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and collects things like the pages you view, your approximate location, device and browser, but not your name or email. You can read how Google uses this data.

Analytics is on for this browser.

You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Affiliate links, sharing and translation

When you click through to a store (including Amazon), that store and the affiliate network may set cookies to track the referral, under their own privacy policies. See our affiliate disclosure. The share buttons are plain links: Facebook, WhatsApp and Pinterest only get involved if you click one. If you choose another language, the page opens through Google Translate, under Google's privacy policy.

Access, correction, removal and complaints

To see, correct or delete information we hold about you, email snaglistau@gmail.com. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
