Watch out: Very expensive (A$2,999 RRP on ECOVACS AU), and the dock's 1.6 L bin needs emptying more often than a bag.
Self-empty dock: the biggest quality-of-life upgrade. Without one you empty a small bin every run or two.
Mop type: a pad just wipes. Roller or spinning mops with a washing dock actually scrub, and the dock keeps them from smelling.
Suction (Pa): more helps on carpet and rugs. On hard floors, anything from about 6,000 Pa does a good job.
Obstacle avoidance: worth paying for if you have pets, kids' toys or loose cables. It's the difference between a robot you trust alone and one you babysit.
Running costs: budget for dust bags, mop pads and filters. Bagless docks like the X11 cut the bag cost.
